"The Warriors of the past were instilled with: fortitude, generosity, wisdom, and bravery, this is still within some of our people. we can see this with the new renaissance, a new group of warriors coming in to help us move forward and believing in our people. we are blessed to have you and others as a part of our lives, an answered prayer. thank you for all you do!"

Christmas on the Reservation 2021 Video

Started in 2005 by the chiropractor, Dr. Kevin Pallis, LHNC has brought hope, health, and dignity to the kids living in poverty and instability at the Fort Peck reservation in Poplar, MT.

As Americans, we don't have to look very far to find third-world conditions; poverty is alive and well in the United States, and nowhere is it more obvious than on Native American Reservations.

Here are just a few statistics of life on the Res:

- 75% unemployment

- 40% high school dropout rate

- The highest suicide rate in the US (10x national average)

- Life expectancy, disease, poverty of a third world country

- Crime, drugs, and alcohol abuse that starts in middle school

- Disease rates unrivaled in the US (diabetes is 4x the national average)

Through programs like Boot Camp and Christmas on the Reservation, LHNC is ultimately about ending the hopelessness that the people on Reservations experience.  We use chiropractic and holistic care, the supporters of LHNC want to change the paradigm to transform hopelessness into hopefulness.

At its core is a common thread that unites all of us – do the right thing, especially for people who are oppressed.  It has a feeling of rightfulness, of honor, and people’s usual response is ‘how can I get involved’?  How can one say, “no, I don’t want to help kids that live in 3rd world conditions right here in the USA?”

LHNC is a fully federal tax recognized 501(c)(3) movement that has no paid staff or consultants, only volunteers.

Love Has No Color

20 years of bringing love and hope to the children of Fort Peck Reservation in Poplar, MT

These tiles were painted and illustrated by Kenny Smoker himself! Kenny Smoker is the Wellness Director at Fort Peck reservation. The tiles were shipped out to the reservation so Kenny could paint five unique pictures to be cemented to Dr. Kevin Pallis's wall in his family's home to have a piece of LHNC from miles away! Each tile represents a piece of a five-part story that Kenny created!
